Nebraska's Dash Sirmon and Braden Presser of the Naval Academy placed second and third for the U.S. in the men's javelin throw final at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Under-23 Championships at the National Stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica. Sirmon achieved a third-round throw of 247 feet (75.28m) and Presser produced a second-round mark of 238-2 (72.60m) for the Americans.
