Navy track and field team captain Sean Richards (Skillman, N.J.) qualified for the NCAA National Championship on Saturday afternoon at the NCAA East Preliminaries held at the USF Track and Field Stadium on the campus of the University of South Florida. Richards finished 11th to advance to the national meet, which is slated to begin competition on Wednesday, June 6, at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
